The Workshop
Assateague Island is beautiful! We’ll photograph sunset on the Bay side of the Island, and then work our way to the ocean side as the light fades. And when it’s dark enough we’ll photograph the Milky Way. We have some great Milky Way locations!
We will, of course, cover our night photography teaching points, with as little or as much attention as you need for your night-time compositions. Bring your full-frame or crop-sensor DSLR or mirrorless camera, with a wide-angle lens for the night sky and a medium range telephoto (think 24-105mm) for everything else. And don’t forget your tripod!
We’ll spend time at the beginning of the workshop learning about Milky Way photography. Instruction will be based on the slides which you’ll receive after registering for the workshop.
Image Critique: We invite you to submit one or two of your photos from this night to the instructors for a private critique.
